Turkey legs go extinct at Animal Kingdom

The hunt for a giant turkey leg has just become a little more challenging at Walt Disney World. Following a regular review of food items at the parks, the drumstick behemoth (a longtime favourite of Disney park goers) is no longer available at Animal Kingdom. The delicacy remains ready to supply members of the ‘cult of cartilage’ their fix at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Disney Turkey Leg Facts:

  • Over 1.8 million pounds of turkey legs are sold annually at Walt Disney World
  • A single turkey leg weighs around 1.5 lbs.
  • Male turkey legs are used exclusively because of their larger size

Now watch this guy gobble for a free turkey leg…
