Master of Puppets

While rockin’ and rollin’ was the focus of Jack White’s appearance on the season finale of The Muppets earlier this month, he was there for more than music. A post on his Third Man Records website explains…

“Jack White had some important business to tend to with his friend Kermit involving matters of the heart on The Muppets season finale…”
Third Man Records

When White wasn’t busy counselling Kermit on his relationship with Ms. Piggy, he was plying his guitar god trade, closing out Piggy’s talk show with a cover of Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life” and ripping it up with Kermit for a duet of the White Stripe’s “Fell In Love With a Girl.”

White’s cover of the Stevie Wonder classic is now available for pre-order on vinyl 7″ and digital single at thirdmanstore.com or digitally from iTunes and TIDAL. On the A-side, White takes on the tune with The Muppets house band, the Electric Mayhem, while the entire cast joins in for the B-side.
